I have no doubt that Maddison would do well for City.

Admittedly, I have always held a certain bias against him after watching him play alongside Foden in an U-21 tournament back in 2019. Foden showed so much more quality than him despite being four years younger and much
more inexperienced.

I just think that the average City attacking player is in some way up there with the best in Europe. Foden, Mahrez, Grealish, Bernardo, Gundogan, Haaland, Alvarez and De Bruyne are all top-of-the-line players who each offer things that almost nobody else does.

I don't think City should go for Maddison unless the club thinks he's as good as the above players are.

I think the main reason why nobody has made a serious offer for him, is because he seems to have the knees and hips of an old age pensioner.

If that was a City player, it would be triple the amount of games, as Leicester aren't regularly fighting for 4 trophies. 50 days out is 7 weeks x 3 games a week = 21 matches.

197 days injured since Jan 2020, for a City player, that would be 84 matches.

Hmmm... The longest one by far is 72 days during the Summer - and I'm pretty sure City don't play many games in July.

We also only play 2 matches a week at most. It might be 3 in 7/8 days, but the third is a different week. We actually play a maximum of about 60 games a year over 9-10 months - so nearer to 1.5 games a week.

So, if it's around 120 days, which is 17 weeks, or maybe 30 games instead of 26 at Leicester. Since Jan 2020, that's 3 years and 3 months, so maybe 9 games a season?

Really good player and a no brainer at the price. But I think he’ll end up at Newcastle as a first choice starter rather than being a rotation player here
