Tough choices made, and nothing gives me more pleasure than local talent rising to the top.
Foden, Lewis, O'Reilly, and Bobb is probably as good as it gets at the top level (academy to (we hope) regular appearances).
I think it is just that in the attacking areas, James is probably a little off what we have.

Trafford now as well, five isn't bad at all given the level we play at. Mukasa should be getting minutes this season maybe as well.

I’m getting similar vibes to the palmer transfer. For me other than foden, Mcatee is the most technically talented footballer we have produced. I think he will end up being a top player, he just needs to play every week and properly develop in the premier league.

I know his numbers aren't crazy impressive but Ramsey has over 100 Premier League appearances, it's not a good comparison for value imo

Its what the academy was built for, finding someone good enough for our first team would just be a huge unexpected bonus.

It's just the cycle here at City, we have high standards.

Only 1 academy player usually is integrated every year or 2.

Mukasa is a WHU kid, he has been with us a year, that isn't the same as Foden etc being with us since they were tiny kids.
Trafford was from Carlisle Utd but he was 12yo, as opposed to 16 when joining like Mukasa.

Don't get me wrong I hope the kid makes it :)

No he's not, Bobb for one is more talented. I think it's a mentality issue with McAtee and I do hope he goes on to great things, I just don't see the drive or desire to be the very best.
