James McAtee | On loan at Sheffield United

2017 Sancho was dropped from the US tour after he spat the dummy out because City wouldn't guarantee 1st team games (at 17 years old at that) and despite being offered a huge contract for such a young lad. He'd only been here a couple of years so not really a comparison to Foden or McAtee.

Fair points. The career pathway point still stands, though, in terms of Foden and Sancho. It’ll be interesting to see what he chooses.

J M's talent and ability on the ball is perfect for City's style of play. His close control and composure reminds me of David Silva. He is also a goalscorer as proven by the number of goals he has scored already this season. Playing with City's brilliant footballers like Bernardo, Foden, KDB and Grealish over the next year will be great for him...the sky is the limit for this lad.

He either goes the way of Sancho or the way of Foden - both have been proven to be vindicated in their decisions
Yeah, one’s the best young attacker in the league with half a dozen pots to his name. The other plays (sometimes) for United, has won fuck all and his PL stats currently include no goals or assists.

Oh, but he’s on £350k per week…

To say Sancho made a bad decision in leaving us is a bit blue-tinted IMO. Would he have won more if he stayed? Definitely. Would he have played as much? Probably not.

It's fine to admit that a player left us and excelled. Even when he's ended up at the rags.

He excelled in the German league tbf. If he eventually excels in the Premier league then fair play. Right now he looks lost on the pitch.
He also comes across as a bit of a **** who's ego has him believing he's better than he is so Ironically utd is the perfect club for him..

I read something recently about him excelling in a team where he knows his role right down to the little details. In other words he'd be perfect in a Pep team and probably would be under Poch too.

The worst possible manager for him was Ole but the same can be said for the majority of players to be fair.
