So true, and when you see klopp giving minutes to the likes of Tyler Morton (who is a good player) and a cameo appearance for Max Wooltman who both would probably struggle to be regular starters in city u23’s with the players we have, it’s very frustrating for the young lads.
I guess sometimes being at a club who stockpile so much young talent can actually ruin their chances

He'll be absolutely gutted not to have played, and rightly so. Hopefully it'll increase his desire to break through rather than discourage him.

On the flip side I imagine the experience of being part of that dressing room after the game would be invaluable. Pep will have been angry about the result, angry at Kyle, angry about the tepid performance.

The kids will have probably never seen Pep like that and see how senior players react.
