Honestly think his wages are out if Everton's range. He will either sign a new deal with us or move on to a club that will match his present wages. Milner doesn't need to (and won't) take a pay cut.

Think too many journalists are drawing similarities with Barry's contract situation and reaching the wrong conclusion. James Milner has only just turned 28, and we're going to need Englishmen who can actually play in CL games, not just warm the bench.
