I'd have him. Creative centre midfielder, versatile, young, English. Perfect target as we missed out on Champs League. It would be awesome if we got him.
 
As we didn't get 4th this season, it will be alot harder next season for us to get into the top 4 soo we need ''top class footballers'' and Milner doesn't enter that bracket. We don't want to be a sidestep show.

We can do better, we need another couple of players of Tevez's level.

Please don't buy Milner, he is an over-rated workhorse. Villa will demand £25 million which is twice what he's worth. This is a Hughes style signing, average, technically limited premier league player for silly money. We don't need energy and enthusiasm ikn the middle we need some class and guile. Milner is a top six player not a title challenger, he would be a useful squad addition at the right price but that isn't gonna happen with all the hype around him this year.

well, he's not a great player, and then again he's not a bad player, the thing about him is he's versatile and can play in a variety of positions, in all honestly, he could be a good addition to the SQUAD, with the amount of roles he can play, and one thing we do need is a better squad with strength in depth.
plus he's still young and homegrown, which will bode well for these new uefa rules coming in.
