James Milner

I don't get the Milner hate. We offered him a contract at what we thought he was worth, he got a better deal for himself at the dippers. That's fine by me. Trying to suggest that he messed us about is a bit of stretch, it was pretty clear he was a squad man with us and other clubs were in a position to promise him a much bigger role and also pay him on that basis. I don't see why it is such a big issue!

what have you won in your career james

Two PL titles, an FA Cup winner's medal and a League Cup winner's medal.

All while with the club that offered him a huge salary to stay and then, when he decided that the grass was greener elsewhere, beat his new team in his first League Cup final with his new club.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

exactly but he must be comforted by the wedge he got from running his contract down, the wanker

He made demands that we more than met, he wanted to start in big games, so we played him central midfield against United, Bayern and Barca. We did everything we could to convince him and as I repeat, all demands were met. He moved to Liverpool for the signing on fee.

So what, if we gave him favourable treatment then that is a failing of the management (if)! Like I said we were and are going to move on to bigger and better and he knew that. He picked his level and I don't see how that makes him a Cnut if he had taken a massive salary of us and turned into a bit part squad man is that any better?

His loss imo - and actually he is now irrelevant at City.

Let him play in his favoured position of midfield and win lots of medals, and share in the history which the Dippers revel in.
