He also wanted to take the 5th pen so he could get the winner. Ended up not getting to take it though ;)
Some precious drivel on here. In footballing terms it was the right move for him.
Who else would sign a new contract just to give their billionaire employer a transfer fee? Who the fcuk would do the equivalent of that in their own personal work situations? Show me one and I'll show you a liar.
He's a player of moderate ability who isn't really missed. Get over it.
Why? Did it personally affect them that we got no transfer fee for him?Yer right, Sir B, but it still left a nasty taste in a lot of City fans' mouths.
That's because Tevez was a great player. Is this thread still going on about Jimmy leaving? Did he take half of your other halfs with him as well?
Tevez is regarded as a legend for 2 transfer requests, a sabbatical and leaving with a year left still to serve. I'm sure we can forget about fucking boring Milner.

No, I think it was the way that Milner didn't come out and say that he wasn't signing a new contract without all the bullshit of letting the club think that negotiations might have been fruitful. Pep made it clear to Bayern that he wasn't gonna sign a new contract and I think that City fans would have understood better, and Milner would have left in a better light had he done the same.
Someone on here said got him spot on. He's machiavellian. Is this thread still going on about Jimmy leaving? Did he take half of your other halfs with him as well?
