James Milner

Hang on. You have changed his quote "up there as the best team I've played in" to "up there with the best".

He said his current team is the best. You have changed that to suggest he is saying they are one of the best.

Don't use misquoted quotations to support your argument.

I haven't changed fuck all. I've copied and pasted it from the interview

Why doesn't someone give the quote from the actual article rather than the twitter post to clear up what he actually said?

Personally I can't stand the prick. He has come across as a right gobshite since he left and he was getting a fair amount of game time here and probably would be even now given the state of our fullbacks. He went for the big pay day nothing else and he has won fuck all there and I doubt he will do either!

I've always thought Liverpool have something in their contract or at least lean on players to give soundbites that their vain fans can nod their heads to... it's just vanity, they've got nothing else other than the idea that they are massive a club everybody loves and wants to be at(yeah right!).

Milner doesn't give a shit about Liverpool(he's a Leeds fan for a start isn't he?) he wont be going back there after he retires(I can totally see him showing up on the tunnel cam at City though), threw them a few bones when he joined to make sure they took to him(being an ex City player), throwing them some now because he wants a few more seasons. I've no hate for Milner personally I just think he's a bit a of a puppet for coming out with what they want to hear. Balotelli went there and did none of that, even showed up at our games while he was still there, that's balls for you especially since he was finding it hard to settle in the team at the time... Milner would be doing overtime bending over for them in the press in the same situation.

I bet you, unlike me, don't know him personally at all or would have the slightest clue about his character in the real world.

I don't know him either. but i get the clear impression that he is a greedy canute. He has come out with nothing but bull shine about the move to the Dippers, and ever since has not had a particularly good thing to say about the club with whom he won his trophies! On the contrary, what I have read and what I have heard he has been less than fair. That makes him a canute in my book!

Milner has similarities to Canute - Canute was delusional.

Been a right wanker since he left us. Only reason he plays at all is because Moreno is hopeless at defending. Next season he will be firmly on the bench in his place as mr utility man.
