James Milner

We should boo the little mercenary prat. I know it's not the done thing to do at City and we would be lowering ourselves to the level of the scousers but he getting too gobby. And compared to Raheem who left Liverpool with a big payday for them. Miller left us for nothing to get a bigger payday for himself. Yet those scouse prats boo Raheem. Hypocrites

how is he a mercenary ?? he left for more game time. he played really well when he was with us and was a valuable player. i dont get the hatred for him. we could do with him now tbh

Used to like him didn't get enough game time for us, went to Liverpool became their highest paid player earning more than Sterling per week plus signing on fee, not the first time. The comes out with tripe in paper maybe some of the words enhanced by the journalist but he could put that right. Maybe he is caught up in Merseyside small mentality mode. I actually think under Pep he would have done well. maybe all the Sterling crap has something to do with it too

It's the scouse rag media guys, don't believe a word of it, if he'd left the scum they would be saying what a club what great fans take no flippin notice [emoji3]

He refused to sign a new contract and allow City to get some money back on fee we paid for him. Instead he chose a 10million pound signing on fee for himself. He used the excuse of playing time to move but got plenty of playing time at City in his last season. He also used the excuse of wanting to play centre mid and now he is playing full back at Liverpool. If he wanted to leave because of the money and signing on fee then just say so, but don't go making shit up and now he's having another sligh dig at us. No one in the media criticises milner but plenty of prats critcised rahaeem yet he actually did all the right things for liverpool and has moved to a more suceasful club to win trophies unlike milner who is just a wanker these days.

so what thats his choice. its not an excuse is it. he wasn't playing for us regularly. even if he wants more money then again so what, most players want that and most people want that. your point about the media has nothing to do with milner himself. he doesnt owe us any loyalty, hes not a city fan. he thought the liverpool move was best for him...... she nye played for us he gave everything most games and worked his socks off. why do you have such a grudge/hatred of him, there are plenty of players who dont give a shit about city and only came for the money, surely you have more of a reaso not hate them then milner.

I liked him when he played for us but he's just another average opposition player for me now.

I've never clapped him on his returns and I certainly can't be arsed to boo him. He's a yesterdays man and not worth bothering about.

I don't hate him. But thought he was dishonest about the move to Liverpool. Don't think he ever had any intention of signing a new contract with us, but strung it out for a year naking out it was all our fault rather than his decision.

The stuff since in the main has been funny. He's not worth getting too upset over.

He's made it very clear in his actions since leaving he was only here for the money.

Lining himself up to take the 5th penalty in the shootout against us.

Losing his shit in an utterly classless manner when he scored against us 3 days later.

The guy is a piece of shit, but the media make him out to be a great guy.

most of our players are only here for the money. we never would have got yaya, aguero or the others without offering them huge wages. what was he meant to do- not take penalty for his team ? or not score. what did you want him to do play shit against us or purposely miss a penalty ? then that means he cares about us.

the guy isn't a piece of shit, i doubt you know him personally. when he was at city he played well and put his all into it. yaya treated our club like shit for a while, but I'm not seeing the hatred for him. milner serves us well and then moves on and people seem to personally hate him. its bizarre

I think we can hold fire to see what the Dipper hordes do. If 5000 boo Raheem then 45000 can boo Milner!

I wasn't arsed about Milner at all when he left as he'd won a bit of stuff with us and I genuinely believed he left for footballing reasons because he knew he wouldn't see much game time with us

However, when he played for us and scored vs Villa, he refused to celebrate, yet when he scored for Liverpool against us he celebrated like he's won the World Cup. I actually don't mind former players celebrating, but as he refused to do so vs Villa why did he do it against us! He's had a huge pay day from City plus his medals and left us a better player and when you hear the warm words with which our Chairman paid tribute to him, it just shows Milner to be a cúnt

On the penalty, you are missing the entire point.it came out afterwards he openly pushed to take the final penalty. He wanted to rub it in. Had he taken any other penalty, no one would really care, but he wanted his moment over us like it would vindicate him or something.

And our players are not just here for the money. They could have gotten money in any number of places. They were sold on a chance to make history. And either way, we bought them from Madrid, Barca etc. We took that ungrateful shit from Aston Villa and gave him everything he had achieved in his career. You don't see Barry,Lescott or even Scot Sinclair acting as disgracefully as him. He's bitter that he was put on a huge stage by us but never got to be Stevie G or Lampard, and that's why he is bitter, when in truth he owes our club everything.

so was milner. one of the main reasons he came to us was to win trophies, you can't deny money was one of if not the mai reason we got most of our players to come to us.

When yaya took the pen he took his shirt off and twirled around his head, jimmy did the same in that next game,to prove he could do it i suppose, tosser

That wasnt the quote though. Im sure people just like stirring the shit

He said

"Obviously winning a couple of titles at City, we had some very good players, but as a team this is probably up there as the best team I've played in."

Nothing wrong with that. "up there with the best"
Hang on. You have changed his quote "up there as the best team I've played in" to "up there with the best".

He said his current team is the best. You have changed that to suggest he is saying they are one of the best.

Don't use misquoted quotations to support your argument.

He's a mercenary because he his move was entirely about more money. I am not having you saying it was about game time as Pellers was giving him plenty. That was one of his many excuses. He got 10mill signing on fee from Liverpool. That's why he left. All City have got since got in return sonce is his little petty digs as others have stated. To me he's just a selfish petty wanker. But thats just my opinion. Yours is obviously different. By the way I wasn't impressed with yaya but he has now apologised and has shut up his prat of an agent.
