James Milner

It makes me piss.....and shows the fucking state of the game......Martinez saying, regarding the penalty, because Milner doesn't appeal/stay down/cheat......he shouldn't get the decision.............Milner has shown on many occasion if he isn't hurt,he doesn't milk it,the Barry 'challenge' on him, before the elbow assault,on the touchline, was absolute proof.A more 'theatrical' type would have been fucking rolling about on the floor for 10 minutes..... Milner immediately sprang to his feet and maybe saved Barry from a greater punishment.

Although the penalty was,to put it mildly, very weak.....the argument that 'it isn't one because he doesn't make a bigger deal about it' is a nonsense.

brilliant today. as always. Loved that cross field pass he did swell. No doubt there will be people on here still saying he's shit and just not good enough. He's been arguably one of our best players all season

Said it a thousand times, but I love James Milner!

Was doing everything today. Almost got a goal to cap off a near perfect performance too. (Wish he took the chance, was a great move and he deserved a goal!)

Yer dead right, FI. Too many think that if a player doesn't go immediately into tumbling triple salchow mode then it must be a dive. It's a free kick anywhere else on the pitch - inside the area it's a pen, soft or squashy, it's a pen.

I was so glad that he got MOTM because he played his little heart out today & I noticed a couple of times either Mr Pellegrini or Brian Kidd called him over and pointed out things they wanted him to do. Well done James.

Spot on.

it was soft one I agree

but it was still a penalty and Jimbo isn't some rag that will act like he's just been shot by a high powered rifle at every diving opportunity

Here we go.......<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/414040/EXCLUSIVE-Liverpool-Arsenal-James-Milner-Man-City-contract" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footba ... y-contract</a>

The England midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season but City have told him a £90k-a-week deal will be on the table by the end of this month.

The new contract would cover the next four years.

If Milner, 28 puts pen to paper, it would disappoint a number of clubs - including Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal - who were scenting a bargain signing
