Also think it's funny that there seems to one or two who are actually praising Milner for not signing a new contract.
Would love to see their reactions if he fucks off to a direct rival on a free next summer.
Nasri put pen to paper on the contract he was offered because he loves being at the club. Milner whilst paying lip service to how great our club is, seems hell bent on keeping his options so open that in just under two months time he will be free to talk to whoever he chooses.
I'll go back to being a Milner fanboy when he signs that contract. Until then I think he's a cheeky c**t taking the piss out of the club.
Strange thinking.
Is it so bad that a professional football player just wants the chance to show his boss what he can do on the field? Is it his fault he's English and fills the 'home grown' quota needed by the club? If he's strong armed the club to his advantage, well it's actually balanced out the team and he's in it on merit now and can't see him permanently left out unless he loses form dramatically in the next few weeks!
Mr Pellergini knows the value of Milner now as he's one of our more consistent performers and I think JM will sign a new contract as a result. He will only be signed by a lesser club with less chances of a trophy/ medal, otherwise and JM knows it.
In light of our current FFP predicament, I would suggest that losing a player on a free who on the open market is worth 20 million pounds isn't something which is going to make anyone happy. The fact that player seems to think that it's okay for him to "strong arm" the club is an even bigger piss take.
Dzeko, Nasri, Kola, Silva, Kun, Vinny - all committed their future's to the club. You really think that this is about Milner playing an extra 10/15 games at a club like Hull or Everton? I don't. I think he's been tapped up and we're in for a nasty surprise when we find out who it is. Up to him to prove me wrong.
