It's a world Cup year, if he has any aspirations of making the squad, going to a team and being first choice would help his chances.
 
Last season gained the record of 12 consecutive clean sheets in the championship, 30 clean sheets in total - he’s definitely got talent! Apparently conceded just 16 goals too, different level to PL but has to be the best English keeper around currently Shirley?

Want to see him with a decent defence in front of him

He did have a decent defence in front of him at Burnley.
 
could be a massive signing. we have had virtually zero ability to scam wins away with good goalkeeping the last few years. we’ve been one shot one goal for years

I'm shocked to see the BBC are changing the narrative to it being a record signing for a British goalkeeper.

He should be the best, all I've heard since is that he's a record signing for a British goalkeeper.

Yeah and main one was Egan Riley was Burnley's best centre back. Another of our academy players, gone to Marseille on free from Burnley, but he could be another we look to bring back in the future. Only 22
 
Surely the next step is for someone to come up with a song along the lines of the only Trafford in Manchester
