According to Google, Trafford is 6'3 and Ederson is 6'2. So this may not be a valid POV.

Ederson will be our goalie for at least 3/4 years! Better he gets the experience and see if he is consistent enough and how he does in the premier at Burnley! He was hoofing it to much for me in this England game unless that was the tactics

Surely it’s perfect for this kind of player. Reality is he’s unlikely to ever feature for us, but if he does develop over the next 2/3 years into a top class keeper then we have first dibs on him. Benefit from money now with the bonus we can bring him back.
