Not sure what you're trying to show me there? I didnt even say he couldn't pass the ball. The point i was making in that quote is not about being able to pass the ball but being able to consistently make the correct pass, at the correct time, completely unflustered.

If a keeper passes to a defender under pressure, who then fucks up or even just causes him to panic slightly and play a poor pass to the next player who then fucks up, in the stats you're presenting to me, the keeper made a flawless pass when the reality is, the pass shoukd have gone elsewhere.

The key difference between ederson and the rest isnt that he's simply more accurate even though he undoubtedly is, it's that he see's the whole field and knows what pass to make, when to make it and also what pass not to make. He doesnt fluster, he wont play the bad pass and rely on the recipient to get themselves out of trouble, he'll find the space and play the pass that is on instead. Nobody else on the planet gets within sight of Edersons ability to do that.
Unfair to compare any other keeper with Eddy in the foot department. After watching his recent highlights reel now thinking we'd be mad not to bring him home. 5k+ views in a few hours.

Can't pass a ball for shit, or dive to his left?

For clarity - I'm joking, loved Joe Hart. But plenty on here back in the day couldn't get rid of him quick enough!
Fantastic keeper was Joe and one of the best we’ve ever had. I think Trafford is on the same path as Joe was and could be even better.

Lightning in a bottle that we managed to bring in as good of a keeper footwork wise as Eddy at the time we had a team so dominant, so brilliant technically at that time.

At present we aren’t that and I’m convinced bringing in a keeper who’s better at the core aspects of shot stopping would improve us. Trafford may be that, may not be only time will tell if it happens. Still stand by we need a new keeper and Ederson is done. No hate at all either. He’s the best keeper in this clubs history

Assists are great but it’s saving shots which keepers are judged on and ederson has not been great for a good sseason now . Don’t get me wrong he has been great for us but he needs to move on as we need fresh blood . Trafford would be a great signing for us .
I was disputing the point about us not using his ball playing skills, nothing to do with his shot stopping.

Trafford would be a very very risky signing as a number 1, big difference coming from the championship into a team that wants to win everything. He has never really been under the scrutiny or intensity that a keeper at the top of the prem and cl is under and there would be very little room for error in his first season. Im not saying he will or wont be great but its a huge risk. Put it this way, if he was going to the dippers to replace Allison I would be quite pleased and thats not a good thing.

Load of bollocks. He's the best I've seen of our former academy keeper prospects with his feet. He was brilliant at it at City.
Better than Bazunu for distribution in the youth team? Genuine question btw as you would have seen more than me for both of them.

Newcastle cannot put a bid in or anybody else until we relinquish our buy back option officially.

Basically we have dibs until we say we don't or the buy back period expires
Not sure that's correct.

In your scenario we could just not say anything ever and he would be stuck at Burnley until his contract ran out.

Clubs are free to put a bid in and if Burnley accept it then we can match the bid or pay the buy back.

We only need to match the bid if it's lower I think, the buyback is the maximum fee provided the player is being sold and wants to come of course (triggered by turning down a new contract.)

only what was being reported was holding up a horse mitherers bid.

remember the other year we imformed some club we were not taking the option up on someones buy back and not long after was sold.

think it is more the buy back price we have agree, clubs cannot bid lower as we have first option, repprts newcastle want to offer less than it, so until we say not interested they need to out bid it

It’s a no brainer

The price tag is 40 mil but we sold him for 15 and he got 3 years of experience so you could say we’re buying him for 25.

Could
I posted an in depth video on how good he is.
Could be here for 10 years and he’s from the academy.

Doubt he’ll smash the wage bill like a Donnarumma.

Get it done !
