January 2026 Window

We should still be after a right back, Kush is a centre half long term. Maybe Newcastle will have a shit start to the season and look like missing out on CL money and be more receptive to a Livramento offer.
He is but he's at such a young age he can easily be converted. Livramento I'd take let's hope he doesn't sign a new deal.

Gvardiol Bah Khusanov Livramento could be an absolute monster back 4 in a few years.

There'll be no room for anyone coming in January, but I'd like to see us sign another couple of youngsters and leave them with their clubs.

Khusanov
Lewis
Nunes

Khusanov is a centre back, but still the best RB we have.
Lewis not good enough, too weak, not aggressive, poor positioning, switches off. I wish we’d sell him.
Nunes is an average midfielder standing in the RB area because we’ve no-one else.

Definitely need a right back.

It seems a little strange that we bought Ait Nouri where we already had O Reilly, Ake and Gvardiol who could cover that LB position in preference to buying a RB.

Been watching and keeping an eye on a few players who have caught my interest recently.

If we can't get Adam Wharton, we should look at Manu Kone. I honestly can't say he's had a game below an 8/10 every time I've watched him for Roma or France. Looks mustard.

Livramento is the obvious.

I'd go for Guehi in January or the summer for CB to reventually replace Stones/Ake, but I worry about his Aerial ability.

Yildiz. Every time I've watched him he's looked special. He can't half hit a ball this too.

I've been making an effort to watch Livramento quite closely and he's a superb player. The only concern I would have is his injury history, maybe its worth watching to see if he gets through this season without incident as that will then be 2 years playing a lot of football.

To City particularly he's probably worth paying 100 million for, he's not just 'a solid right back' he can also cover left back seamlessly and he's just a fantastic all around player with very few weaknesses. He could easily develop into a Lahm, Kimmich sort of player. He's quick, a good passer, good dribbler, tall, strong etc etc. We would get a first team stalwart for a decade if we went and got him.

Right back enabling Khusonov to play more central...Id love to see him play there.
