Not buying a replacment for Kompany is costing us a title

who decided that not replacing Kompany is good idea? We would not have won the title without him playing in the run in, yet they do not replace him. I don't understand the complacent attitude the whole club has when we win. Instead hand everyone new deals and act like we have squad impossible to improve on. Always be ruthless, this is not charity.

Obviously thats impossible to answer for sure as nobody really knows the facts for 100%. But given Kompany was hesitant about signing a deal before finally saying he won't, surely that was a sign that it was far from guaranteed that Kompany would stay, then as a result should have been lining up replacements in around March/April just in case. Looks like we banked on him staying which is always mistake. Always do plans just in case.

But even then it was clear at the start of May to the club surely that he won't stay and about 3 months is still enough time to identify and secure replacement.

Doubt Maddison can play along side Foden, so do you think Rodgers a manager renown for dirty defensive teams, and with Ndidi, Maddison and Teilemans arguably the best defensive midfield in the league, would play with 1 defensive midfielder and so expose his defence in the same way as Pep, for me there is no defender at Leicester as good as what we have, it will be interesting seeing who you think could play the Pep way

cheers for your reply i have watched Tieliemans since he was the best 16 year old in the world and always considered him to be a deep lying play maker and as such a DM, but i take it you mean Ndidi as DM

No need to run and hide, your side are playing brilliantly at the moment. I think Vardy is perfect for your setup whereas I don't know if he would excel in a possession based team against parked buses, but your fullbacks are both incredible players.

Lots of talk about Koulibaly. He moved to Napoli in the same window that we signed Mangala. For about a fifth of the cost. I think we should leave our scouts in peace in Kazakhstan or wherever it is they're based.
