I would like to take them one at a time. We have two foreign spots available and for me Sanchez will occupy one and we need a left back. The rest of the team can wait till summer IMO

I would love to see something like this
January
LB- Ghoulam for £12m
Attacker- Sanchez £25m
Summer
DM- Milinkovic-Savic £60m
CB-Skrinier £40m
Outgoings
Mangala- £7m
Yaya- Free agent to NYCFC
Delph- £15m
Extensions
Fernandinho- one more year
Gross Spend: £137m
Net Spend: £115m
Other options for DM: Fabinho, Jorginho, Diawara
CB options: Koulibaly, Van Dijk
Weigl for me is not an option yet. Many cite pace but what he really lacks is the physicality needed for the PL. Let him grow and develop and we can consider him again when Fernandinho leaves.
We do this business and we’ll have an amazing squad for years and finally we’ll be in a postion where we’ll only need to add a player or two maximum each summer.
If we sell Delph and replace him with a foreign player will we not be over our quota of foreign players?

You might be right. It will be tough then because we really need to strengthen in these 4 key positions and I don’t see any homegrown player good enough for us in those positions bar Rose who would cost £50m. Maybe Bertrand but he would also cost a lot.
Easier said than done, convincing a very highly rated, much sought after, and incredibly ambitious, young keeper to sit on our bench for 90% of the season will be a very difficult ask.Sell Bravo and have Gunn as our backup?
