Mate he's a very, very good player but he's not worth that and Lukaku wasn't worth what the rags paid for him either. If we wanted a forward 35m more than that would have gotten us Mbappe in the summer and Kane would be around the same.

Fairly certain that release clause is only for the summer of 2019 and according to transfermarkt his contract runs until 2020 so would make sense.

I was thinking what is best for us. I'm already worried about Aguero moaning for playing time and I think adding Sanchez will further convince him to move away. Besides, another attacker isn't exactly what we need right now.

We need a center half and a pivot. Non of both, I reckon, can be remedied by a signing in January - not a good enough signing anyway.
