I'd doubt we'd get him I say when he leaves utd he'll retire

Haha nice come back.. But your post saying "A new Manager" is not from some one who supports city
Na mate I don't think we do I actually think RM is a good manager but I also think hes on thin ice. IMO he be gone in the summer

It has indeed but our performances this season have been pretty bad in all comps this seaso add to that RM hasn't been backed in the transfer market for the last 2 windows. Ok we spent 55m in the summer but I don't think they were RM signings I don't think any of the players that were signed improved the squad more of a stop gap to keep us thinking over.

Like I've said I like RM and what he's done for city It's a pity he wasn't backed in the summer because if we got 2 players that he wanted for that 55m like Martinez and RVP the league could be over by now. Rather than buying crap like Roswell Sinclair miacon.

We've been linked with El Sharaawy as well, it is a Mirror story though...

To El with Mario: City ready to swap Balotelli for AC Milan striker

Manchester City will consider offloading Mario Balotelli to help them land Italy’s bright new star Stephan El Shaarawy, writes The Sunday People.

The Premier League champions splashed out £24million on Balotelli in August 2010, but are growing increasingly tired of his behaviour and attitude.

City have recently been looking into a move for 20-year-old AC Milan striker El Shaarawy – and have discovered that the San Siro outfit are keen on Balotelli, opening up the possibility of a player-plus-cash deal.

Balotelli, 22, is a childhood fan of the Italian club and was pictured wearing their shirt while playing for rivals Inter.

Milan are struggling in mid-table but have El Shaawary signed up until 2017. Vice-president Adriano Galliani recently warned Manchester United off the player.

City’s new director of football Txiki Begiristain and manager Roberto Mancini are admirers of El Shaarawy, who made his international debut against England in August, and are desperate to beat United to his signature – they could even try to get the player-swap deal in motion as soon as January.

Meanwhile, Roberto Mancini will ask for the green light to sign Brazilian sensation Neymar when he meets Manchester City’s new director of football this week.

Why would Milan sell their best player, he has basically kept Allegri in the job with his goals.

-- Sun Nov 04, 2012 1:20 am --

Benat and Isco would be nice
Both would be relatively cheap (both clubs struggling financially) and would give us what we're missing, Isco for some width and Benat as a deep lying playmaker.

Won't be the first time they've done it of late...

We had to curb our spending with FFP around the corner, as for our start we haven't played great so what?! how many times us as fans and the media have said it about the scum early season when they are not ripping up trees "oh they always come good in the new-year"

Not worth it, City needs someone better than El Shaawary.

Wouldn't advocate it myself, but as a swap for current form Balotelli it'd still be tempting. Absolute hogwash story though so this is completely hypothetical.
