I don’t think we’ll go for anyone in January, but I think we’ll need to have a deeper squad next year. The toll of this season on top of the last, plus the Euros, will make it much harder to go with so few again.
 
Decent cover for defenders so it won't be a defender. Not much quality available at this stage of the season either and it needless in wasting money.
 
I’d go for Take Kubo to play on the right hand side so we can play Bernardo and Phil in the middle once Phillips is gone.

Pep said it doesn’t look good and it’s his ankle? He’s amazing Stones but we are going to have to start looking at him as just a squad player soon? He could be weeks or months out again by the sounds of it :-(
 
With Kubo we may have to battle with Real. They are probably well covered in that department but it doesn't stop them for re-signing the player. or even attempting to sign him.

they dont need him or have made any indication they do as well as him not wanting to move most likely, hes a nailed on starter.
 
We need some reinforcements but we aren't getting them in January, when do we ever unless something amazing becomes available

KDB coming back is huge for us, that helps us a lot immediately

It's lie Liverpool not having Salah for the entire season so far or Arsenal with Saka/Odegaard

Yeah, RM gets 50% of this sale. It looks like his agents, agents of sponsors/La Liga media are desperate to make money out of the sale to EPL since he is not good enough for Real or Barca.

They tried with Manure. What happened to that? For the right side we have Doku, Foden, Bernie, Bobb & Hamilton, and will have Savio and Echeverri. What we need is a right sided versatile player with physicality and pace who can also play right wingback and right midfield.

Arsenal do a lot of "looking" dont they, i remember they were looking down at us for 250 days last year and then we tore them apart and won the league at a canter as well as two more trophies. They are the ones chasing us.

Doku, Savio, Hamilton and Echeverri are all better LWs, none of the rest are right footed.

Much agree on the right sided player though, Fresneda or Livramento would be ideal (I would include Frimpong but he's very slight)

They are technically gifted enough to adapt very well and play any attacking positions other than what they are currently playing in.

If we can get Tino, it would be ideal since he can play left back as well.

Watching him the other night he ( Luiz) seems to be in the right place and keeps it simple just what we need. Rodri does look tired. And if defence we look very short now with Stones injury again! Needed is someone who understands the way we play. Mentioned before let’s get THB back and give him some game time, he doing well at Southampton.
