January

Nobody barring lengthy injuries. We got our business done early,we wasn't active on deadline day because we got our targets for the season and if all goes to plan and players stay fit there shouldn't be a need to sign anybody in January. January will be a month long laugh at United scrambling around to sign anybody that's willing to go there. and with any luck Chelsea doing a similar thing as it will mean they've had a bad few months.

that tielemans fella from anderlecht and let him on loan there will be a monster of a footballer in some years

The way transfer fees have been going we could do far worse than to sign him on a long term deal and loan him back to Anderlecht for a few years.

Unless we pick up a couple of lengthy, nasty looking injuries, I can't really see us doing much of anything in January, and that's the way it should be. Signing players mid-season is a clear indication, in most cases, that your transfer strategy in the summer, and your season to that date, haven't gone as you'd have hoped. If we've got an unsettled player, maybe if Nasri isn't getting much game time for example, which is certainly possible, we may sell, and that may trigger a purchase, but I believe we'll be very, very quiet in the January transfer window.

Next summer is where we'd be next looking to address squad issues. At this stage it's far, far too early to be contemplating what we might do next summer, although addressing the fullback positions would seem like something we haven't really done for several seasons now and may well be overdue.

Top of the league, all business down before deadline day.......

Some people are never satisfied
