That was out. No way the first showing had the ball anything less than fully over the line. If I cared about Germany I'd be annoyed. Apparently it was 'overhanging' , still can't believe that, there looked like clear space to me. Pleased for Japan, sorry for Rodri.

The on field decision was a goal kick. How the fuck did VAR think that that was a clear and obvious error. I said it after that dodgy penalty last night, VAR is being used to change the outcome of games.

That’s what I was thinking. If the on field decision was to disallow the goal, how can var say that was in? Can they use the goal line decision system in such cases, and if so, why haven’t we been shown it.
