Denayer interview is on the OS, seems he's been told he'll be in the first team squad (as was widely reported). Comes across as really mature.

Strange that the OS doesn't list him or Kelchi in the first team squad yet

i've watched a couple games myself, reminds me of Kompany, good on the ball and always looking to do something with it, plays long balls often and they're often accurate, Tosin Adarabioyo in the academy up next also, mark my words

And Cam Humphrey's - both are superb talents at centre half.

Boyata was our 4th choice CB last season and he ended up playing twice in the league and 3 times in the Cup which is a total of 5 games only.

Lets hope Denayer can manage to play more games.

Great news for all City related parties. I hope he can make it and put some severe pressure on all our senior cb's. May the best partnership play and excel.

Probably the reason he did not play so much was the gulf between him and the other three centre halfs. With this lad it should not be so extreme,. Also with Demi aging and the toil of the Copa there should be a lot more opportunities. Personally there are a number of home games where we generally dominate and we should have the courage to play him in those fixtures. If we fail to win them games others in the team should take the responsibility

He'll be a starter by the end of this season, better than mangala imo.

Hope he gets a run in of games in the 1st team and maybe rival Demi and mangala for their starting place. Seems keen for 1st team football, strikes me as one of those that would give his 100% all game even if we were a few up, think he's deffo got potential. Looked good for celtic
