Played well.

Goal was down to the right back standing 5 yards behind the other 3 defenders playing the bloke onside or he would have been well off. Denayer really is good on the ball. Could easily play in a Fernando type role in a few years if he doesn't make it at cb imo.

In looks and technical ability,he reminds me of Huddlestone, although,I would add....a more athletic version.

Seems surprising, Belgium have a lot of quality at CB and Denayer has not exactly been setting the mighty SPL on fire so far, I'm not sure he's had a single clean sheet yet and Celtic are doing shite (although that's obviously not all on him, I suspect the manager is a plank). I'd of thought it was too early for him, but clearly Wilmots wants him to get the experience. Good luck to him, always good to be on the national managers radar.

hi, no need to suck everyones cock just the mods 8-)

Don't listen to him, I have needs.

Good on the lad, just the experience of training with his national squad will do wonders for his confidence and make him want to get back there, wouldn't be too surprised to hear if Vinny had a word with the coach to tell him he's the real deal ;)
