What, had an extra-marital indisgression or missed out on a job on 'The One Show'?
What actually happened? I remember the commotion when it happened but I for the life of me can never remember what was said!I hope he comes on here again and starts laying into the inevitable knobheads who will post on this thread.
Now that was a classic.

Wasn't anything spectacular and isn't worthy of being a classic thread. IIRC there was just a generic thread on Manford, nothing specific just about performances and general talk about him. As always when somebody does well for themselves, some on here were quite bitter and made a few remarks about him playing tennis with his new best pals. Manford rightly came on to put a few posters straight and mentioned his charity work etc. There was some clown continuously making "garlic bread" jokes which wasn't really funny.What actually happened? The situation was blown out of proportion and his wife did very well out of it. Exchanged a few cheeky DMs and media went to town on him. The BBC have kept on a lot worse.

I was his support act on his 1st national tour. The most down to earth man you will ever meet. Uses his profile to raise money for little known charities, such as local hospices. And loves City

Quite like his comedy, don't get the impression that he's high and mighty or anything, even if he was that's not my business. Comes across as pretty sound, could have a pint with him etc, unless someone is going to say he's teetotal nowadays l!
