Never heard of him to be honest

I've only seen him a few times to be honest but he looked good when I did. Like several others, he has a hard time breaking into the international squad, but consider which international squad it is.

Just looked him up on wiki as I know nothing about this guy, says he's a defensive midfielder/center back. Anyone clue me in on his abilities?

He plays like NDJ, but he makes many fouls. I think that we don't need him.

Ive seen the guy on the left on a few vids off the official site. If you watch the QPR highlights he picks up Mancini after Aguero scores. Not sure who he is but i think he is part of the Mancinis staff.

Thanks for the info, in that case the interest may be real. Javi can play as defender midfielder and central defender, Benfica plays most of the times in 4-1-3-2 and he is vital in the defensive process, his stats show he sees a yellow card every 6 games for the Champions, what I think is not that bad. Anyway he is vital for Benfica, I don't think they will release him easily because they don't have any replacement and the market is about to close. BTW The other name that was mentioned was Garay, the Argentinian central defender, ex-Real Madrid as well.

Yeah, that Matt Le Tissier, he wasn't that good either because he only played for England eight times. Wasn't competing against, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Busquets, Xavi etc... either.
