Hope he doesn't do a Sancho.

Why would it be the 'right decision for him'?It would 100% be the right decision for him, but I hope it doesn’t happen
The ease that academy graduates can walk away with a number of clubs exploiting that situation doesn't help.More and more it seems the academy will never be self-sustaining, the running costs being equalled by money saved on transfers and sell-ons. The logical pragmatic solution is to abandon it and use the money on the scouting set-up. No doubt the scouting network is already large, and proficient. It needs to be the best, imo, the original intention to produce a production line of ready-made first-teamers has proved to be out of reach, again, imo.
People who can spot a future "star" before they are in the spot-light and therefore expensive will pay for themselves over and over again. If the old reserve league came about (no chance) then things may be different, the step from youth team to first team would be much lower than it is now.

Because he would get probably 10 times more playing time if he went somewhere else. Pep doesn’t even play Foden, because of fucking Gundogan. Why would it be the 'right decision for him'?

Foden should be a more regular starter next season as we've probably seen the last of David Silva sadly. I thought Garcia and Harwood Bellis had been promoted to the 1st team squad?Personally i think as a club we should take a leap of faith with some of our youth players. Show them there is a pathway into the first team, this should start with Foden becoming a regular starter for us next year and the promotion of Garcia and Harwood Bellis,
