Jeff Stelling

I think maybe a change in format is in order. They've all been there for about 15 years, they have nothing left to say

I'd suggest they go down the route of BT's European Football Show and their Champs League Goal Show

Agree. Its become tired and predictable. Merson with his banal predictions that go completely the opposite, 'Pep will be the first manager sacked, United will win the league by April, Rashford will be top scorer', etc, the writing off and borderline xenophobic remarks about the latest foreign manager 'What does he know about our game?' 'Why isn't Bruce or good ol' Arry being considered?', Thompson telling us all its finally going to be Liverpool's year, Champagne Charlie saying "and yer sittin there thinkin" for the zillionth time, and Le Tissier being the only fair, considered person among them. MOTD did the right thing by getting shut of Hansen and Lawrenson, and changing the style. They've become dinosaurs. The game has moved on. Bring in some fresh blood. They can manage without Stelling too. Last week, Julian Warren did the same thing, had all the stats and tidbits Stelling did, they get it fed from their earpiece. I honestly wouldn't miss him.

His beloved Hartlepool are losing 0-2 at home and he is nearly in tears bless him and just to cap his day off Newport are winning . I do hope they get relegated

Wow, anyone else just see him lose the plot on soccer Saturday? Nearly crying screaming for the managers head. Mind you 13pts from a possible 51 and in danger of being relegated to the National league.

Yeah, went proper crazy.

Even offered to resign as president of the club if they sacked Jones, funny as fk.

Shouldn't bring he's personnel opinion into it when he's employed to be an impartial pundit, fuck all to do with him who the club employs trying to bully Hartlepool because of the position he holds.

He's not working for the BBC, I don't think he has any responsibility to be impartial whatsoever, and Sky pay him to share his opinion on football as well as present, it's a core part of the show.

He's also both a Hartlepool fan and honorary president of the club, so it's every bit to do with him.

Could have made a phone call to the chairman instead of slagging him off in public ****s trick

Imagine how anodyne tv would be, if impartiality was a core requirement of every programme?
