The only reason people watched it was because of the relationship between Jeff and the four old pundits (MLT, Thompson, Merson etc)

They‘ll replace him with someone shite and then replace them with you tubers.

Its a tired format that has no place in 2021.

I tend to agree with the "show die" part, it was good in it's heyday mainly for the buffoonery than the actual scores ie Kamara and the Portsmouth/Blackburn sending off, Merson not being able to pronouce some Greek left back.

When it first started it filled a void for goal updates as before that all you had was the likes of Radio 5 which could be mins behind due to the ingame commentary and then the videprinter at full time.

Nowadays apps like Flashscores tell you everything you need to know, or if you want to be even more on the button betting apps.

Not "eye candy" in the slightest. I think she's dreadful and ingratiatingly irritating.

Stop watching them years ago , he was a twat about us a lot and of course red leaning . I think it is quite a hard job keeping up with all the scores and goings on across the leagues , probably be the guy that does the midweek games on sky , ca t think who else could do it
 
20 years ago it was a great, ground breaking show, but things move on.

Well past it's sell by date but I wish Stelling well, he always came over as a honest, decent guy.

Unbelievable Jeff.

In all seriousness they killed it when they axed Tiss, Nicholas, and Thompson. I know people will say that they're dinosaurs and younger audiences can't relate to them and they did talk nonsense a lot of the time, but it was never supposed to be a serious football show (that's for MNF) it was meant to be quite light hearted and more about the chemistry between the 4 and Stelling (along with Kamara's gaffes), a bit like Top Gear and the relationship between Clarkson, May and Hammond. Just as they killed Top Gear when Clarkson was kicked out, they also killed Soccer Saturday when those 3 left. It's difficult to see where it can go now. It will probably end up with KSI as the presenter with guest appearances from Logan Paul.

But like Soccer am very good a couple of decades ago but it’s bog standard crap

as for soccer Saturday it’s crap now full of pundits filling quotas .......... the shift out le tiss and Thompson for Clinton Morrison which sums it up for you
