Jeff Stelling

Soccer Saturday and sky sports in general become obsolete about 10-15 years ago.

As soon as the internet was distributing news and scores quicker it became pointless. I genuinely used to enjoy soccer Saturday back when there wasn't options to watch or follow every game easily, he was a good host with some decent banter, I even read his jellymans thrown a wobbly book but it should have been killed off a very long time ago.

The only time I ever see sky sports now is if I go to the barbers and even that 30 minutes every couple of months is too much time.

He's done the right thing getting out whilst it slowly clings on and suffers a drawn out death.

Fine if your a spotty teenager.

I’d rather see all the games scores , around the grounds and know the permutations. It’s a winning formula and always will be.

But of course Jeff or one of panellists said something wrong or bad about City years ago and it upset you so much you hate the fact people enjoy it.

They are employees/contract staff and are employed simply to promote and give voice to a narrative which reflects the perceived threat to the cartel and the disruptive influence that Manchester City represents. Success for them is measured not in the excellence or depth of insight and analysis, but in subscriber numbers.

You of course are incapable of understanding this and shouldn't be expected to.

Not something I'd ever watch to be honest and never really warmed to Stelling but I guess there must be a market for it and BT do something similar (also with pretty crappy 'pundits') so no doubt it still has a future.

I just use the fotmob app to keep up to date with any scores while I am watching a game.

If you’re not a spotty teenager you can use a decent IPTV service and see the games practically in real time with no advertisements popping up.

All live games will reference goals scored in any other matches that are being played at the same time as well. It’s not hard to see how those goals affect the table on your mobile whilst watching the match.

I’d say spotty teenagers are more likely to be foolish enough to keep paying sky a king’s ransom and still think streams are something you find via Google on some dodgy website.

Weird how you seem to be so out of touch with City fans views on a City forum.
 
One thing they should give Jeff as a leaving present is a P45 for his deluded mate Merson. How he survived the cull after the others went god only knows. Maybe it is down to his "issues" and they feel sorry for him.

Birmin'ham have gone in front Jeff is one of the more eloquent things that come out of the cockney wanker's mouth.

I'm hoping this is the end of the show as it has completely gone beyond its sell by date. Wankers like Dawson and Morrison need to be fucked off too if they decide to keep it going.

I used to watch Teletext as a kid for live results. Think my parents thought I had Asperger’s or something sitting there for hour and a half watching bright green text. Fair to say Soccer Saturday is an upgrade.

Anyway settle pettle. I got some stick for enjoying soccer Saturday so gave some stick back. All harmless until you chip in , the Ronnie Pickering of Bluemoon.
