I prefer Nasty too.

But if we had Boateng, He would have been very useful during Kompany's injury.
 
Obviously a good player but never showed it for us, wanted to go back to Germany and we haven't missed him. No ill will from me it just didn't work for him at City.
 
He was a waste of time for us and the game he played for Bayern v Us at the Allianz last season shown why we got rid of him, how we didn't get two penalties that night from him I will never know.

I couldn't careless how well he's playing now at the time we made the correct decision on him.
 
He was a young twentyone year old player - a talent - when he was at Manchester City. A pregnant wife in Berlin, his brother (who had been in England when he signed) in Italy, injuries, no perfect position etc.

Recently he has been really great. No faults in the back and some assists and goals.
 
all our current defenders with the exception of kolorov (who doesnt play in Boatengs position) are better centrally and at right full back that him

zabba and richards streets ahead of him

Kompany is probably one of the best centre halves in world football

nasty has show more character and ability to adapt quicker to the prem league and is younger

kolo more experienced and a better defender

lescott...better in the air, improving on the ground all the time...more suited to the physical challenge (imagine boatand against the likes of carroll!!!!)

he may have played well for munich but he just wasnt suited to our league and that was easy to see...plus he didnt want to be here

so no lesson to be learnt...we are better off without him
 
A fucking shithouse of the highest order. Savic made mistakes but at least he didnt duck out of challenges that were in his favour!
