agree with both these points, even nasri is braver in 50/50 tackles.
He used City to get a transfer to Bayern. He wasn't interested in playing for us just picking up his wages. When he got the chance he moaned and groaned. He never settled here and was desperate to leave the club. Nothing to do with the fans reaction at all. Oh and he was a shithouse. I could defend in the German league against most teams

Don't get either the wankfest or the hatefest, to be honest.
It didn't work out for him at City, but clearly at another club who play in a different way it is doing.

He left because he wanted to play CB not RB and he wanted his kids to grow up in Germany.
And you couldnt defend in the german league.

never got a fair crack at City for me for one reason or another. It was obvious he's a CB as opposed to RB, always thought he'd be a good player. Don't/didn't understand the shit he got from some blues.

are you bothered or not? if your not bothered, skip the thread and move onto somthing you are bothered/interested in.
just accept, that like quite a few blues, you were wrong about the defensive capabilities of a past player. he was one of the most sought after defenders in europe before he joined city, and has gone on to GREAT things since he left us.
have a bit of respect for a player who has managed to turn his life around.
i don,t recall him having a very good game away at notts county in the cup, but he looked DECENT playing for germany,at the world cup finals,at left back,on his weaker side...which one of those two matches do you think will stick out in jeromes mind?
stop being bitter, and be happy for the lad. and don,t pretend your not bothered about him either.

Pretty much agree with that. He's been decent for us to be honest.

To an extent yes,but from the off he didn't really endear himself to the fans,it was like some sort of farce. Firstly he gets injured by a bloody trolley dolly on a flight ,you couldn't make it up,then it took him ages to recover!He seemed to whine a lot and then when he did play he seemed to be lightweight,inputted little effort and was gutless.Once he had left he bad mouthed us to the press a fair few times,so no love lost here!

Over 4 games Bayern didn't concede against the Spanish and Italian champions to be. The German league has improved a lot.
