Katharine Birbalsingh addressed the open letter to Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer. Labour has not commented on the matter and Sky News has contacted Ms Phillips for her response.

I have very little time for Birbalsingh as an educationalist in part because she seems less interested in that than in self-promotion and in part because the evidence base for some of the stuff she spouts is none existent. Seems high on her own supply.

That said I would like to see what has actually been said before I take a view on her grievance.

As a British Asian I am disgusted by this Headmistress with his misguided claims of racism. It does us all as disservice especially people who endure actual racism, which I have. The claims are politically motivated by a right leaning head mistress.
