I find it better to judge people on what they do whilst in power rather than on what they say they want to do if they get power,so much deflecting going on in the politics threads,it's most entertaining tbf
It’s all relative!Maybe you're too posh to notice.
Presumably "not being comfortable with it" is the reason she now wants to take those opportunities away from genuine working class kids .
A la O'Donnell (privately educated) and Corbyn (privately educated). Ditto D Abbott (send her kid to a selective school but denies other working class kids the same chances).
And what is with that pretend working class peaky blinders accent ? She .is. A. Fraud .
Dave's here!Proper working class hero, you are.

Not especially. Just a fairly normal bloke who is a little bit sick of being patronised by middle class, suburban, privileged frauds who think if they exaggerate what they "think" is a "working class accent" that we will be too thick to notice they are in fact hypocrites, liars, and charlatans.
It's not even the selective, or private education thing. I'm personally not in favour of it but I'm old enough to understand that I don't have the right to tell parents how or where to educate their kids. It's the hypocrisy of using that education to become a part of the establishment and then turning around and pulling up the drawbridge behind you.
And when you do all that by pretending to be working class I find it patronising, dishonest, disgusting, and worthy of comment.
Which I believe is the point of a forum .
Know a guy from Wolverhampton and another from West Brom who’ve gone the other way. Two of the poshest sounding and looking blokes I know, but could and possibly should have ended up speaking and projecting themselves very differently. I’d be surprised if there was a society on earth more conscious of social class than this country. Not especially.
