Taking him off and so giving them acres of space for the crosser to get the ball and cross it was our undoing,his deliveries are ok now,it's the others not finishing them that's the problem.taking him off when we just needed to keep the ball and defend was a major fuck up from pep,he really surprised me with that one

I keep reading about Navas never beating the first man, but he's going to struggle when there's only Aguero in the area, facing six defenders

If there's only Aguero in the box you have to ask yourself why fucking bother crossing it in? Half his problem is he hardly looks up, never ever crosses it to the back post- he consistently twats it into the shins of an opposite defender,he has no left foot so can't even come inside and take a man on or fucking shoot.

His goal tally and assists totally sum his time up at City,grafter he is and he gets top marks for it and never seems to moan.

His end product isn't good enough, Sane should have had a run out or at least twenty minutes as he actually is prepared to take defenders on.

Navas is on form, played well in the league cup and against Barca, whilst Sane has only given the ball away so far and makes Yasser Hussein look like SWP.

Same thing happens from the other side though, especially when Silva waits for the telegraphed Kolarov overlap. The opposition hold their defensive line, and the ball gets cleared.
We still lack that Lampard type midfielder who'll bust a gut to get in the middle, rather than hovering on the edge, frequently leaving Aguero outnumbered.

When he leaves (Not just yet please Jesus) it'll probably be back to Sevilla. But the truth is they've come a long way since he left them and he probably won't get any more game time there than here. Think it'll be more about coming home for him.

What on earth makes you think Pep would sell him?

He's played in about 2/3rds of our games under Guardiola, no manager willingly sells a player they're using that much.
