Thought he had a really good game. Was a constant threat and put some dangerous balls in all game
Them and Fern for me. Great performances.Thought he was our best player yesterday, along with Silva.
Put in some great performances this season. At what point does he become a regular starter if he keeps on like this?
Fully agree, but I sometimes worry what being dropped long-term game might do to Sterling's confidence. I'd play Sterling against Celtic and, if he doesn't impress, play Navas against Leicester. On current form he probably deserves to start ahead of Sterling.
He has got 2 assists so he is better than last year already
whoscored has him down for 14 app, 575m, 0 goals 0 assists. He might be playing better but the squad is far worse when he starts. He started 4 games in the PL and we have a 1-1-2 record. I don't have anything against him as squad player but I get ready for dropped points if he's in the X1. He's also a major buzzkill to me from an entertainment POV.
Not a chance I'd start Navas over Sterling. I think we've scored 2 goals in the last three or four games where Navas starts. I don't even think I'm out of line by saying that he might be the easiest winger to defend in the entire PL.
Cant argue with that.
He needs to be converted to a right back,
could be our Bellerin.
