Jesus Navas - 2016/17 performances

I loved how the one time he put a decent cross into the box everyone was just stood still as they didn't think him capable of producing it.

He will be singled out. Put in the best cross of the match. A goal on a plate of anyone wanted it.

Delph, Zabaleta, Fernando, Nolito & De Bruyne when he came on were all worse.

When was his last match winning performance then? OK I will make it easier when was his last good performance?

Other than De Bruyne, you could say the same as the other players I've named.
I think Navas is pretty shit, but every time he plays he puts in some excellent crosses. Not many but some. Yet he gets slated.
He's pretty awful but he's no worse than many that get excused time & time again.

You could argue that Fernando has got a bit better the past 12mths. But he is not a creative player. Delph has been injury plagued but I accept average. Nolito looked OK initially but hasn't had a run and now looks average. Navas pips them all for being consistently poor. He's pinching a living as a pl footballer Imo . But if they all left then good

I assume that that argument would be with the people who say that Fernando has gotten a LOT better over the last 12 months.

Never seen the point of getting on the back of a player who always puts a shift in. He's a limited player who will leave and hopefully be replaced by someone of greater ability and consistency, but he has always worked hard and done what has been asked of him. He's not lazy or arrogant, he doesn't slag off the club or have a knobjockey agent, and he's been part of a good deal of success during his time at City.

I always work hard, does what's asked of me, not lazy or arrogant and I don't slag off the club. That doesn't make me a good choice to play on the right wing for Manchester City. Navas is not, and never has been, of the required standard.
