Jesus Navas (continued)

Pelli says he would have subbed all 11.
Jesus was the only player to perform from the first whistle to the last.
MOM all day long.
He's very consistent. Always an outlet and always great quality on the ball

Don't think you can look beyond Aguero for MOM but apart from that I agree

Re: Navas

Now has 12 assists in all competitions, more than last seasons highest (Silva with 11). Only Rooney has more in England this season.

Re: Navas

Forget the goals and the assists, even away from that he's an essential man in the squad. Like Milner, doesn't play every game but doesn't moan when he's left on the bench and when he does get game time he's a proper team player. Works hard to find space to be passed the ball in, passes the ball well, works hard to win the ball back or at least gets in a goal side position to make the opposition have to look somewhere else and does this for 94minutes.

Roadrunner is doing us proud.

Re: Navas

Seemed to have a good game last night, though it was disappointing to see him waving the imaginary card right in the ref's face during the Rose/penalty situation.

He was wagging his finger.

Re: Navas

The way he runs at players and across the pitch in the last third is what frightens a lot of defenders. The number of times within a game where you see defenders reluctant to tackle a player for the obvious reasons seems to be increasing, and with a player like Navas it can only work to our advantage.

looked suspiciously like card waving! but either way, he had a good game and I wont hold it against him ;)

Re: Navas

I like that when there are no immediate available passes and he can't run down the outside, he dribbles infield until he has a passing angle. He never plays an aimless ball, resorting to hope. Everything is meticulous, accurate, calculated.

Great signing, looking forward to watching all the city players in the world cup.

F*** watching them in the world cup, I wanna watch them win medals here

Re: Navas

Didn't deserve to be on the losing side tonight.

A great performance and easily our MOTM. Everything good about our play was coming from him and showed great urgency from the 1st minute the last.
