Have a look at his appearances stats - apart from 2010 season (only 28 appearances) he has barely missed any games

Just under 900 appearances in 20 top flight seasons is remarkable.

Also the first player in history to win a World Cup, a European Championship and a Nations League title.

Frustrating player and just like another famous person with the same name, not very comfortable with a cross. If my mind serves me right however, he was playing RB during Pep’s first season, a position he’s done well in for both club and country. So hats off, a long and very impressive career by all means. The goal against Spurs I’ll remember extremely fondly.
