in the past we had to lure players here by offering extremely high wages. we don't have to do that anymore. players now want to play for us because are a big club now.

Yeah thats what I make it, around 50k euros a week.
My word if we can keep wages like that going for all our forthcoming signings we have stuck gold with Ferran and Txiki.
Plus, Txiki is using Barcelona's method of low wages high bonuses isn't he? That is such a better wage model.
Obvioulsy some of the bigger name players will want more, but keeping it at a respectable level is definately something we should be looking for in the future.
