I could see Navas as a wingback in a 3-4-3. He can run, he can play possession football and he's Spanish. Why would Pep sell?
Pep often kerpd lots of old players, they just never seen to be the key players. So Navas may well be kept. Amazingly useful player. Not enough cutting edge going forward and not young enough to keep around and re train. Sell him whilst we can still get a decent fee imo.

Because we have a pretty full squad. Players have to go for players to come in. Money as well - the need to keep within external and internal financial constraints and targets. Players like Bony, Sagna, Navas, Fernando, Kolorov, Yaya and maybe more aren't going to be first choice. If Pep is going to bring in four or more players then older players, with high salaries and declining market value will be the ones to go.
I suspect we might be a bit shocked with some outgoings.

Has his homesickness caught up with himI like him as a player and think he's underrated by many, but I think he'll leave this summer.

His homesickness isn't an issue anymore. I don't think he really got the credit he deserves for overcoming his demons on that front to be honest. A lot of people scoffed about it, but it was a pretty debilitating condition for him. Even if he leaves this summer it probably represents a personal victory of sorts to him.
