If the rumoured extension is signed I'm sure we'll see him there plenty, regardless of who we sign it's madness expecting fullbacks to play more than 40 games a season in the modern era imo. However whoever comes in needs to be comfortably the better of the two.

You don't get away with being a fullback unless you can go from one byline to the other. That hasn't always been the case.

In general I like Navas and think he gets a bad rap, but I'm not sure we should be taking his form 7years ago into account. Fact is he's not played for Spain since 2013.
