Jesus Navas

Good professional, always tried his hardest but for me his best isnt good enough for where City want to be. If true which i hope it is and he moves on I wish him all the best.

He's been a fringe player this season, so there's absolutely no reason to keep him

We have better players in his position going forward and after we bring in a first choice right back, we have a better reserve option in Fernandiho to cover if necessary

With Navas's issue of not travelling well, he's done OK to come to England, be a solid performer and win some stuff. He can leave a proud man

Nava's leaves with respect and good wishes from me. Great squad player, very decent human being and very low maintenance.

For a guy whom has had issues with travelling/home sickness, to uproot from Spain and live in Manchester, he has done exceptionally well.

Can't fault his effort or commitment at this club.
But I simply cannot see the point in extending his contract.

He is now next to useless as a winger.
You can actually feel the crowd drop in enthusiasm when he's ready to come on as a winger.
He's has become a decent back up full back but he's still way behind Fernandinho in that role,I'd wager Stones would be every bit as good in an emergency.
I would sincerely hope our new right back is infinitely better.

So really what would be the point?

Like the guy, full respect to him, what he's offered us and his tireless effort. So I wish well.

Worth mentioning the guy was role model off the pitch aswell . no nonse attitude , limited skills but made up for it with hard work , never complaining , never fighting on pitch , never giving stupid interviews , no flashy sports cars ... him , silva , these Spanish players are so well behaved :D

I doubt that we will keep many, if any, of our out of contract players, even Yaya. They're only going to get one year deals from City, whereas they'll likely get 2-3 year deals elsewhere.

Robbie Savage once said something that actually made sense. He said players absolutely hate taking wage cuts at their exising clubs. Apparently its hugely detrimental to their status in the dressing room (footballers with egos, who would believe it?). Its much more palatable for them to take a pay cut once they've moved on.

I quite like him though I can see his obvious limitations. He's out of contract and so I can't see him staying if he's got a decent offer from Sevilla and while he isn't good enough to be a starter for us, there are quite a few I'd get rid of before him.

Was told this morning that he has had his porsche shipped back from Liverpool over to Seville
Lad I know on the docks signed off the ferry departure

Probably suggests he will indeed go back there

He will be a lucky lad if it arrives in Seville in one piece if it's going via Liverpool docks!

He's going to be driving a right hand drive porsche in Spain, or he's been driving a left hand drive porsche here?
