But to be fair, why do you find it disturbing? If you believe in the divine being then great for you but dont they say faith is blind? I for one think religion is the route to all problems, war, abuse (read the book Altar boy to back up my point on this), money and corruption, cover up's. The list goes on and on. My own opinion is any info we have is not even 2nd hand but it's been changed and added to so many times over the centuries that it's a Chinese whispers in paper form. What about the book of Judas that has been dismissed by the church? A gospol that proves he wasnt the person we are led to believe he is, but infact someone very different. Judas was also someone who Jesus considered to be his closest friend. Someone who wrote a very different story including the revelation Jesus was indeed married (as was the norm at the time for a man of his faith to be wed, it was not the done thing not to be - so history tells us!).
I understand if you feel "upset" or disturbed as some are moking the beliefs you have but I want to know your thoughts on this and why it upsets you so much if your faith is so strong? Surely your the good one and we are dambed regardless?
Dont mean to sound as if I am having a go at you I just wanted to understand from your point of view as a believer.
Unless of course your taking the piss and I'm doing a clarkie, although in this case someone did actually die!
