Felix has scored like 2 goals in La Liga this season? How can anyone want that?
That looks amazing on paper, would love it love love
That is some team, in the words of K Keegan, “Would love it, love it..”
I agree with what you say, but our squad places are at a premium now, and with the emergence of Palmer now, I believe we have more than enough players who can serve as a false 9. I would rather invest in Haaland, because Felix wouldn't come cheap, as an alternative to how we currently play.He doesn't suit Atletico, I wouldn't look at Goals and Assists only.
If you read Atletico fans talk about him they'll say he is very good, he likes to playmake and drop deep, he isn't a target man and would be a False 9 role.
That being said, he can get frustrated when he has the ball and the team is static around him, I think he would be more suited to us.
At that price and wage structure we should be all over that. He can play False 9, on the wing, or attacking midfield. Fits the "All Rounded Player" mold we seem to have lately.
Edit: Also, we hardly go wrong with Former Benfica players :)
Maybe someone else is leaving, just sayingI agree with what you say, but our squad places are at a premium now, and with the emergence of Palmer now, I believe we have more than enough players who can serve as a false 9. Much more of a natural in the middle of the front three over any of them who are naturally wide players. Essential nah, but easily fitted in to the system/squad going forward if we got him.Wait.. don't know much about him but he isn't a striker really is he? So does he give us a new option like Haaland or Dusan would? Seems like he would just enter the front like rotation of Grealish, Foden, Sterling, KDB, Mahrez, now Palmer.
Is he really what we need? Or nice to have?
Wasn’t there talk of Mahrez going and what about Jesus he can also play on the right… I think there will be further salesWait.. don't know much about him but he isn't a striker really is he? I believe a proven striker is required, to put away the myriad of chances that we create.Wait.. don't know much about him but he isn't a striker really is he? Yeah I agree, probably better to get a traditional striker right now.I agree with what you say, but our squad places are at a premium now, and with the emergence of Palmer now, I believe we have more than enough players who can serve as a false 9. I would rather invest in Haaland, because Felix wouldn't come cheap, as an alternative to how we currently play.
Yeah this was my thought.. if someone of that bunch leaves then we would get Felix but we have Palmer coming through and we still don't have a real striker.I believe a proven striker is required, to put away the myriad of chances that we create.
