Over rated .
Which in itself says it all
Thats prob his best role, i expect Pep would find him technically efficient enough to slot in a few for us, whether other managers could though..All it says is he plays a position no one wants any more & The Premier League is where all the money is.
How many teams play with a second striker? 15 years ago everyone had someone in the hole, everyone played 4231. 25 years ago everyone wanted one, because it's great in a 442.
Today? Everyone uses 433 and unfortunately for Joao Felix he's not an 8, he's not a winger and he's not a striker.
Dybala has had the same problem, a player who can be incredible, but is all too often a square peg. He went to Roma to play in a system that suited him and was incredible before his injury.
Felix needs to go to a team that plays 2 up front or and old school 4231. The problem is finding one at the level he should play at who can afford him. ..
He might have to drop a few levels to find a team and manager who fit him and can afford him.
