No. Different issues here though. If you are really asking if Jo Brand was offensive in what she said then no, in the context of what she said and where. Is that what you are really driving at or is this a wider question, in which case it may be difficult to respond meaningfully as the thread will soon be overun with people complaining about not being able to say paki shop anymore, or the equivalent thereof

It's the hyperbole I struggle with. People suggesting she should be taken to see victims of acid attacks or charged with incitement are being a bit ott. I don't find her particularly funny but the handwringing is ridiculous. It was a joke ffs.

Let's be clear,no-one deserves acid in their face,he however has incited hatred towards immigrants but the police weren't interested were they?
