If he is content to be 3rd/4th choice then i have no problem with him staying.

He definitely has got something that I can't just put my finger on but definitely hasn't got others that I can. He hasn't got a quick enough turn get in amongst it nor has he blistering pace. He is a reasonable third option as striker.
I hadn't worked out who he reminded me of but the analogy with Darius is spot on. I couldn't hate Darius, like some, but you knew deep down he wasn't quite there. Now we have Jo.

I watched the brief highlights on ITV4 and he took his goal brilliantly.
He had a perfect goal ruled out (he was level - not offide), and nearly scored a goal in the opening minutes when somehow the ball went underneath him when sliding in at the far post - but he was there for the chance
If we can give him games, he will produce, and his all round play is good as well.

The minute yer know Jo is leading the line, yer know that those behind have to work off their bollox and give him some decent chances. He can miss some that yer thought he could have wafted in with a programme but the kind of chance he got last night, and the one where HE WAS IN LINE WITH THE LAST DEFENDER, were well taken. He has a fair share of the Brazilian skill and now Rob and Elano have buggered off, he can be more himself. I agree that he is a good squad player and if defenders don't concentrate he will have 'em. GET IN JO!
