Jo Cox (MP) RIP.

Very sad that the UK has come to this, killing politicians

Poor woman and her poor family

not sure politicians count any more than any others

and there's plenty of others that have been killed in the UK too

just saying

and yes it is dreadful and RIP Jo before anyone starts

Who has said politicians are more important than other people?

On a wider point, when Paul Massey was gunned down there was a consensus on this forum that it was gang related.

When Jo Cox RIP was murdered some thought bullies come out saying don't you dare say think this is anything to do with racist extremists!

Always pretty skeptical of pictures on social media, half are photoshopped and the others are usually misrepresented in some way. It's pretty damning for them if that is him though as other people in the organisation will know him if he goes to meet ups you'd have thought
Yep, it's worthwhile being skeptical. The pic is absolutely photo-shopped, and isn't even a good effort. There are various criteria we look for when looking at photograph composition and this one falls short on so many counts.

1. The original size of the photo been purposely cropped. Now we see the larger size you will notice that the there was a different shorter person stood in place. Note how the legs are proportionally incorrect. The legs are too short for the height of the replacement torso, and this particularly apparent if we look at the height of the knee joints. Also, if we stand straight and twist the top half of our body 90 degrees, our knees automatically try to follow the direction of the twist - these knees haven't moved.
2. Next, if we look at the overall composition, we can see quite clearly that the photograph was prepared and not taken 'off the cuff'. For this purpose it would be taken with all 5 members wearing the BF merchandise (of which only the original 4 are) all 5 members would be facing towards the camera (of which only the original 4 are), and all 5 members would be holding the top of the banner (of which only the original 4 are).

This would be perceived as a terrible photograph if it was genuine, and would certainly be recomposed and retaken. In the digital era photographers don't need to worry about conserving film due to costs, and they would have certainly retaken the picture if the original 5th member was so startling the odd one out and ruining the composition.

Like I said last night - I don't think it's him but the lack of professionalism with the photo might be due to it not being a professional shot taken with decent equipment and by someone who pays attention to the composure. It could've just been taken on a shit camera phone.
I don't think it been photoshopped at all, I just don't think it's him - someone has found a pic online with a skinny guy in a baseball cap and tried to pass it off as the same racist right wing scum. I've posted a picture of who this guy in this picture is earlier in the thread.
